A Journey Into Heart And Mind

The Murky waters of the heart and mind

Deeper than any ravine. Murkier than any muddy stream

More vast than any desert. Unfathomable like the sea

This is the realm where thoughts and fears reside

Where only the bravest dare to tread

It challenges all who seek to understand it

Amused at our vain attempts

This is where the desires and emotions reside

Where only the wisest dare to unlock its doors

It laughs at their attempts and bids them go deeper

This is where the ambitions and wants reside

Where only the most curious seek to know what lies behind the double doors

The depravity of man or the goodness of God

The many doors beckon “come hither”

Lo! what would lie behind these many doors?

Is it the darkest dark or the brightest light?

Tis a mystery indeed. A puzzle of grand proportions –

What lies within the heart and mind of man
