June 18 Morning Devotional

Ours in every way.
From birth to death,
ㅤto life again.
All for us.
All is…
Ours.

He fasted,
ㅤfacing hunger as a man.
In his weariness he was tempted,
ㅤbattling Satan face to face.
He held firm.
His victory…
Ours.

He suffered,
ㅤabused for what others did.
What we did.
Yet he humbled himself,
ㅤaccepting what was not his.
His suffering…
Ours.

He died,
ㅤgiving his blood for us.
His body hung lifeless.
Buried.
Entombed.
His death…
Ours.

But…

He rose.
Vanquished death.
Returned to life,
ㅤbreathing life into us.
His resurrection…
Ours.

In glory,
ㅤhe ascended.
Entered a heavenly mansion for eternity.
Prepared a place for us,
ㅤa place within his glory.
His mansion…
Ours.

We have nothing.
We can earn nothing.
We deserve nothing.
Christ has everything.
And all that is his is…
Ours.
