Python is Not a Great Programming Language

The Surprising Truth!

However, is it the programming utopia it’s made out to be?

In this article, we will shed some light on the less glamorous aspects of Python that might have you questioning everything you thought you knew about this popular language.

Python’s enormous ecosystem and its plethora of third-party libraries are undeniably fantastic. This massive selection of tools and resources makes it a go-to choice for developers who need to solve a problem or prototype an idea quickly.

Despite its commendable strengths, Python has some bewildering quirks. For instance, there are four hundred (give or take) ways to interpolate strings. This makes Python feel less like the “one obvious way to do it” language and more like a confusing tangle of options.

Python’s forced indentation might be a contentious point for some. While it does enforce consistency and readability to a certain extent, others argue that it’s a bit too restrictive. Similarly, the dynamic typing debate is a never-ending saga that transcends Python, leaving programmers on both sides of the fence.
