In addition, Eveline is a character in which we readers all connect with because it shows how Eveline struggles with her own identity. This short story also acknowledges the good and bad things that families can go through. The following perspective is Eveline’s perspective in which she explains what happens and how the things in her past could lead her to the predicament to make a decision for her future.
