DECO7180 Journal week6

The first team work was writing proposal for the major project. In our team, Christy formed the basic structure of proposal. Then, we discussed about the final concept details and distributed work for everyone. We tried to make everyone contribute to it equally. After everyone finished their own work, we put it together and changed the format.

We decide to use Google Drive for most documentation work. All team members are familiar with Google Drive. It’s really convenient for file sharing and online editing. As for communication, because we are all from China, we are going to use Wechat for daily communication. Wechat is a popular online chat application in China. It’s good for file sharing and other collaboration work. We will use Github to store our project code. It’s also very helpful for working separately and managing code.

As for my personal work, I will take major responsibility for the programming and implementing the website. I start to learn technical things. I feel the project is not that difficult to complete if we only want to get a basic version which allows users to use. However, if we want to make a really awesome game website, we should put a lot more effort into it.
