As someone who finds “write a blog post” the project most apt to get moved to the “I’ll get to it” pile, I find Eleanor Roosevelt’s 26-year run at once inspiring and remarkable — yes, for its historical interest and insights, but most notably because “My Day” was written with a heartfelt desire for Americans to aspire to a common vision created by us all.
